A little about me... I have been a Professional Portrait Photographer for over 10 years. I have won multiple national awards, had over 55 international publications including front covers and 4 times been a finalist in Portrait of the Year.
As well as running Emma Finch Photography which is predominantly on location, natural light photography, I also run Belle Privé Photography, which specialises in studio based Female Portraiture, Commercial Lingerie and Fashion photography. I am proud to have built one of the UK's leading Boudoir brands that has clients fly in from around the world to shoot with me.
I also co-own Photography Session Days, teaching Portrait Photography and organising portfolio building events for photographers. Working in unique locations around the UK, we bring the finest models and performers together to create award winning images for photographers' portfolios. I have been a Photography Tutor for 9 years, selling out over 20 workshops every year.

1-2-1 Training
If you would like to improve your photography in a relaxed, focussed session, one on one with me, then do get in touch with your requirements. Training is booked per hour and a bespoke training plan will be put in place depending on what you would like to cover. I am able to arrange models if needs be and training will usually be carried out at my Manchester studio, on location, or at your home if you are local to Manchester. Training will be practical so you get plenty of opportunity to shoot, ask questions and really get to grips with the genre you have chosen.
Topics covered can include:

Basic introduction to Studio Lighting including one and two light set ups and the use of modifiers.

Advanced Studio Lighting including fine art lighting, gel lighting and noir lighting.

Location lighting and combining natural light and fill light.

Getting to grips with your own gear.

Working with models, posing, styling and getting the most from your subject.
